Saleh Muslim’s case in Czechia dismissed
The case filed against former PYD Co-Chair Saleh Muslim in Czechia has been dismissed. The court has rejected the “extradition” request.

The case filed against former PYD Co-Chair Saleh Muslim in Czech capital Prague for his extradition to Turkey is now closed.
The court rejected the extradition request and ruled that Muslim can travel in any country in Europe he pleases. Muslim’s lawyers have been notified of the verdict officially.
Former PYD Co-Chair Saleh Muslim had been detained in Prague where he was visiting for a conference on February 25. It had later come to light that the detention was the result of initiatives by the Turkish government, after which Czech authorities had launched an investigation.
The Czech court released Muslim and has now completely closed the case.
